"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing". Edmund Burke, 18th Century English political thinker.
Very often I hear people say voting is a waste of time.
They say that politics does not really have an effect on your personal life; do not get involved because “they” They are all the same – everyone lies. Although I agree that the classification of all the promises and reality can be a daunting task, but this first step, concluding that represents their personal values and morals is one of the most important differences that you can do to make your voice heard.
The policy has a profound impact on the lives of all. No matter what the level of influence – from local to federal government – elected officials and appointees make decisions every day that affect us somehow. bigger the government is the more are the restrictions you will have more money or you can leave your wallet.
Politics affects everything in our lives if we choose to believe without Importer or not. The policy affects how much of our salary goes to the government; the condition of our armed forces; the relationship with the international community; policy determines the amount of property taxes you have to pay; whether or not to legalize babies aborcion; what kind of medical care you will; what kind of universities you will be able to pay or not pay for their children.
The list is endless!
I have to believe that most Americans are good people, who they wish to preserve their posterity. In order to preserve our heritage, we must get involved in politics. Knowing how your preferred candidate has voted in the past will indicate the probability of how he / she shall vote in the future.
You can make a difference.
